The movie To Kill a Mockingbird, based on the novel written by Harper Lee showed the life of a child during the Great Depression and captured the theme of innocence taken away by evil. In most cases the book is always better than the film because life lessons are taken away in greater detail and are much easier to apply to a reader's life. Many movies stray from the book as did To Kill a Mockingbird, but also captured the scenes not shown in the book. Unlike the book, the movie had taken away the relationship that Boo Radley had with the children. One part of the book which was not shown in the movie was Mrs. Maudie's house fire when Boo Radley had draped a blanket over Scout’s shoulders while Jem and Scout were standing in the cold.…

The Glass Castle is a nonfiction book that was later turned into a movie. The book was written by Jeannette Walls, and the book is about her life. This story is a mostly about the family dynamic of a family who moves around quite often and where each member of the family has their own sets of difficulties. I think the book was turned into a movie for two reasons, one is that the book has parts that would not be super appropriate for younger readers, so they made it into a more of a kid friendly story. The second reason is that not everyone wants or has the time to read a book, it is much easier to see a movie trailer and then think I can spare two hours to go watch this movie.…

It’s a very interesting and simple story that change the perspective of a narrator of how he can see beyond the surface, and the inner self. The writer uses a first-person narrator to emphasize the hidden aspects of the story that are beyond human experience which the narrator relates too. For the cast, the role of un-named narrator would play by my uncle. My aunt will play the role of un-named narrator’s wife.…
