The legalization of marijuana has become one of the most controversial topic in the United States and definitely now more than ever in the most recent years. If the United States were to legalize Marijuana the US would be able to put a tax on it, but unfortunately many states have very different opinions about this topic. Some states have legalized or decriminalized marijuana in their states under certain restrictions, other states allow it just for medical uses and some states plainly have just not even acknowledged the topic of legalizing marijuana or at least try to decriminalize it. If marijuana were to be treated as alcohol, law enforcement would be able to focus their time and resources on much more important things, and as for their financial situation it would have a positive increase.
Marijuana; mainly known by its slang terms such as weed, herb, pot, grass, Mary Jane and many more names, is a mixture of dried, shredded leaves and flowers of cannabis sativa or hemp plant. Many of its users smoke marijuana in joints which are hand rolled cigarettes, many others also use bongs which are pipes or water pipes where the marijuana is put into its bowl and then is ignited thus creating smoke and then the user would proceed to inhale the smoke. Another way people use marijuana is by smoking blunts. Blunts are cigars that have been cut open and have had some of its tobacco replaced with the marijuana.
