Unfortunately, teenagers under the age of eighteen who are now a legal adult have the option to drop out of high school. They lack the necessary thinking skills needed to make the right choice of staying in school. The government gives them the easy way out choice which in turn ruins many lives of a good future. With all the pressure they face in today’s society, this is an unfortunate outcome but too often happens. Parents should have the right to attest that their children’s choice to drop out of high school until they reach the age of twenty-one. So many unsuccessful people nowadays are due to teenagers making the bad choice to quit school before receiving the great education everyone deserves. If this law can change from eighteen to twenty-one, there would be many more successful people in today’s society rather than poor and even homeless. Many of the issues lie against the government allowing this to happen and not doing anything to prevent it.
