Kennedy after he passed away and started this war. Lindon Johnson who was a senator from Texas inherited and continued the liberal democratic policy by John F. Kennedy like fighting poverty and discriminations. Johnson was about to declare war on poverty and also created the aid to the families with dependent children. The Vietnam war could have been avoided but the United States converted and made Vitamin who was a former alley into an enime because, they were a communist nation which happened to be the nemisstst to American capitalism. This war was the most painful for America because they lost for the first time and they did not know the will and determination vitamins had to fight against their colonizers. They separated the South and the North by appointing an American leader in south Vietnam and by paying the South to fight against the communist north. This became a rich man’s war but a poor man’s battle since the rich man declare the war for their profit but the poor man has to sen their sons out to die. This lead to the Hippie movement and anti-government where they chose an alternative society and turning their back on matarisim, competion, and comformite. and many educated African Americans questioned the correlation between the opperation they are facing by the white society to the forced colonization in vitaniame. This created many militant African American movement like the black panthers and adopting the Vietnamese strategy. The Civil Right Act which was the democrats liberal policy only became possible due to President Johnson’s connection to the republican and democrats congressman in the South and he was able to persuade very rasical motivated democrats to sign on the Civil Rights Act. This became his biggest achivment but when the Civil Rights Act passed on 1964 there where many resistant from the Southern democrats. They did not want to share political power or social power and social prestige with the African Americans. The Civil Right Act is an active protection of the people’s right. While the 1950s and 60’s were somewhat of a golden age for the middle class it was hardly a period of change and expandement for the African Amercians. Throughout the country regious segerigation was the rule especially in the South where everything was seperated by law but in the North it was by custime. Their education and job opertunites were limited due to segergation and even if they do manage to acuire a job they had less seniority which made their job unstable. The fight for Civil Right did not start with MLK, Rosa Parkes or Malcom X
