When it comes to revolutionaries only some can be remembered such as one of the world 's greatest activist; Nelson Mandela. A man who would bleed for his country the same way a mother would bleed for her child. Mandela was revered for his aptitude and passion to free his country regardless of the cost. He orchestrated reforms for his motherland by bringing human rights and reducing poverty. Mandela shows that whichever tribulation one may go through wilol not dictate their future. Nelson Mandela 's early life was full of challenging situations and responsibilities. His father, “who was destined to be a chief, served as a counselor to tribal chiefs for several years, but lost his title and fortune over a dispute” (“Nelson Mandela Biography”).

The government began to increase the percentage of households, electricity and health clinics in poverty-stricken areas (“Nelson Mandela”). He kept his word; trying to make South African the best country it can be and was slowly being demonstrated. Many lives began to change for the better due to the remodeling taking place. Africans were filled with contentment; after all the years of living in poor, unsanitary areas, things were finally turning around. Mandela not only focused on adults but made sure there were improvements on the youth by “raising money to build schools” (“Nelson Mandela Biography”). He believed violence was the only way the state will believe how serious citizens were towards freedom. The public followed his methods and agreed with Mandela’s decisions because they trusted those decisions would bring the justice they deserved. When the goal was met, every South African was filled with an amazing overwhelming feeling considering how many years they waited to be able to vote (“Nelson Mandela”).
