The current state of our government in America is corrupt and needs to have changes in order to “fix” the United States, some alterations must be made economically along with criminal and education laws. There are many issues that need to be recognized and established, yet are currently being overlooked and pushed aside. Some of which are more important than others, but all together these changes can make America great.
To start off, economics have always been the topic of disagreements throughout the world. One major controversy that to this day has not been passed is equal salary for both men and women. I know that you previously voted against this, but I believe that the paycheck fairness act, which has failed to pass twice, should be put into consideration again. This will be the third law protecting Americans from gender based wages. Although I know that majority of peoples reasoning against this law is that if one more gets passed, then more and more laws will get added on, but so what? I don’t see the problem in creating more laws to enforce equality. The fact that it is 2016 and everyone is paid differently because of their gender is ridiculous. There is no reason why both men and women working the same occupation shouldn’t get the same paycheck. This is only one of the major economic problems faced throughout the nation.
