Starting with how these vampires /zombies move. They look like they are fumbling around all over the place and all Morgan has to do is shove them off. This is not very realistic in my opinion. The next feature that I dispute is the way the vampires talk and remember things, how can something that dies “remember” and hold a grudge? I feel like there should have been more of an emphasis “realism” with these creatures. Something I found odd in the film was the Dr. Mercer character in the lab. There was something entirely off about him, whether it was just his demeanor or what, but he was seriously “chill” to the point of creepiness. One other thing, what was up with the creepy music the whole entire movie? Is that an Italian thing or just a characteristic of older films? Now to the film as a whole I felt was utterly painful to watch because it was just so slow. By the time anything good happened in the movie, it ended. Speaking of the end, the other group in the movie saw Dr. Morgan as a murderer and that is how I think the director wanted it to seem because all of the vampires he staked were just shocked at him slaying them. I for some reason feel that Price’s character in this film paints him being the bad guy. However, I do feel at the end of the film that Morgan got what was coming to him because he was so lonely throughout the film that he let his guard down and allowed that other woman to gain access into his life (even though he really wasn’t that ‘secure’) I guess the loneliness was driving him mad and the “Ruth” character came along a swept him away. For a second I felt that her character looked a lot like his deceased wife Virginia (coincidence?) Anyway, I feel that Ruth was the leader of this group and used the fact that she was a woman to gain access to Morgan’s personal space. Whatever the intent of this move, it comes across as a dull representation of science-fiction. Some
