Thomson’s goal was to prove that it is sometimes morally permissible to abort a fetus under certain condition. For example, if the mother was raped and the child was threating the mother’s life then she could abort it. Minoans’ frescoes were brightly colored and images of everyday activities. Egyptians’ frescoes were of politics and religion. In addition, Minoans painted in wet frescoes meaning they have to paint faster, however it last longer. The Egyptians painted in dry frescoes meaning they could take their time with, but it was not as durable as wet frescoes. An example between Minoan and Egyptian frescos is Spring Frescos and Last Judgment of Hu Nefer. I believe these two represent the differences in the styles. The Spring Frescos shows the bright colors of the Minoans and the last judgement of Hu Nefer shows what they Egyptians believed what would happen to them in the afterlife.
I used to think that ancient Greeks did not paint their statues and to found out they did has completely changed how I view their art. At first, I thought their art was stone cold with little to know life since they are made from marble. When I think about marble that is the impression I get.
