The Princess watched excruciatingly as her lover opened the door on the right, knowing fully well what the man’s dreadful fate was. After all, she told him to go to that door, she knew what it held behind it, she knew what would happen, and she wanted it to happen. If her love was going to survive, only to belong to another woman, he would not survive at all. Jealousy drove her to this decision, and her semi-barbaric ways were evident in her actions. The crowd watched in utter horror as the man in the arena was ripped to shreds, the tiger roared fiercely at the gasping people in the stands, and in that moment, the Princess realized what she had done. The tiger was being restrained now, and the Princess was stuck, glued to her seat even after the ordeal was over and done. She was now feeling guilty, but angrier at herself, the King, and the lady whom was behind the other door. The princess stood, finally getting up out of her seat, and walked away. One might think she was walking away from the arena completely, but that was not the case here. The princess was not walking away from her problems; she was facing them head on. She had sworn to herself that she would get revenge on the lady …show more content…
“Wait! Stop!” The princess shouted at the lady. “What?!” The lady exclaimed, still very angry and not wanting to stop until the princess had been taught a lesson about being deceptive, even if it meant a fate as cruel as the event of which they just witnessed. “Who is the one who ordered this matter of which made this violence?” The princess tilted her head at the lady, watching as the realization also struck in her mind as well. “Why, your father, the king…” The lady paused before continuing, “But what do you mean to do?
