The man saw the princess gesture to the right. He walked over with such confidence, knowing that the princess wouldn’t lead him to die. He reached out his hand ready to open the heavy door, he glanced back at the princess with thanks in his eyes. But when he opened the door, the thanks in his eyes turned to confusion as the room was empty.
The king being so disappointed in the turnout of the trial, slammed his angry fists on the bar in front of their seats shaking everything. His daughter still leaning over the bar in anxiety fell forward as a hungry tiger came out of the room. The princess was looking at her scared face through the black of the tigers fixed eyes. That would have been the case here, but this is not like most stories. Not at all. You see if the man actually loved the princess then the story would have ended like that. But in this story, all the man loved was power. And what better way to get that than through the princess. She was so willing to give everything for love. Even fall in love with a commoner.
So the man simply stood there. The king on the other hand could have been heard throughout the kingdom.
“I want his head! I want him dead!” he commanded, “Because of him my daughter is dead! You think that a tiger fang death is harsh, just imagine what I am going to do to you! GET HIM!!!!!!”

Th man having very little time to think, grabbed the dungeon door and slammed it shut. Locking the two inside.
¨There,”we are safe now,¨ the man reassured. ¨Safe? We are going to be in here and starve to death. There is no way out.¨
¨We will find a way out.¨
Just then, they heard the king,
¨Who ever turns in the man will be granted the gift of certain life!¨
The women being just a bright as she was beautiful, hearing this looked at the man with a sorry i have to do this look in her eyes, unlocked the door, opened it and told the king,
¨I am turning in the man, I get to live!¨ She was confident and the king was true to his word.
¨ You may go free, as for the guards, see how much the tiger wants a second helping.¨ he smirked.
Now some may say that no one got a happy ending, and you may just be forgetting one person. You see the young women got to run home and finally have her wedding and well I guess I am just the man you got the best happy ending of all, to find my soon to be wife running home alive from a certain death situation. Yes, I am the young woman's husband and we are living happily ever after with three beautiful daughters. The apples of our eyes.
