The short story “The Lady Or The Tiger” by Frank R. Stockton is like a rose with thorns,the rose representing love and the thorns representing conflicts in the story. This short story is about a semi-barbaric king that has a system of justice which is a colosseum in which people who commit crimes go to pay for their accusations. By choosing one of the twin doors, one which holds a ferocious tiger and the other a beautiful lady. The king has a daughter who falls in love with a young man that's not wealthy and the king finds out of this treason and sends him to the colosseum to choose one of the twin doors at a point the young man asks or looks up to her to get her opinion whether door to choose. However if she is having dreams about her lover getting eaten that will also mean that she should be having dreams about her lover being with the lady which will make her furious.
In conclusion, the king had a system of justice where you enter a coloseum. In this colloseum you would either choose one of the two doors one holding a ferocious tiger and the other a beautiful lady. The king caught the princess and the young man having relations and then sends him to the colosseum. In the colosseum the young man looks at the princess to get directions to what door to go in. Therefore the princess chose the door leading to the tiger because she lets jealousy take over and because she's childish and immature and is fervent and
