The Lack of Time Management in Real Life Would it not be just wonderful if nothing was set on a timed schedule? Instead of worrying about assignments being turned in on time or getting anxious about deadlines approaching, we could just relax and say, “I 'll do it when I feel like it.” I could most likely speak for everybody in the world when I say that kind of situation would be perfect. However, this thing called 'real life ' or 'reality ' hits you like a wrecking ball and makes you realize that the ideal way of life described above simply does not exist, and is just not possible. Anyone who knows Blair, knows that she is very ambitious and is always up and going when it comes to her obligations. Yet, this young lady still finds time in her schedule to add more of those obligations like summer classes and internships. She was asked about her time management skills when she started college as opposed to now, being in her senior year, and she made it clear that those skills definitely were learned over time. Then we discussed her tips on how to improve the skills needed to succeed, “Prioritization is definitely the key to it all. Make sure you know how important your obligations really are so you get them done first. When I start to feel lazy, I make myself get up and do whatever it is that I have to get done. In several statements, the fact that the activities you choose to participate in result in the quality of life that you live. “While time management can improve the quality of work, the management of free time can contribute to the quality of life. To lead a high-quality life and pursue a more leisure-oriented lifestyle, people must use their free time healthily,” (Huan, Kao, Wang, Wu, 562-66) was stated in the study made by four graduate students in Taiwan. The study went on to say that when free time activities are planned and productive, like exercising or doing house chores, the activities produce a higher quality of life as well as better quality of work.
