The reason for this is perhaps advocates are aiming toward the wrong audience or going about fixing the problem in the wrong way. High school and college students are the future and have the ability to change the way things currently are and pave ways for new ideas. If high school to college aged students are made more aware of the arts and the importance of the arts, it would lead to a significant change and an increase of advocacy. The fact that technology has boomed over the last decade also must be acknowledged, and therefore efforts should take a more digital approach. While there are websites and several social media sites dedicated to arts advocacy, they are simply not doing the job; an increase in advocacy due to these current digital sites remain to be seen. I believe that there needs to be an easily accessible website, with social media sites connected to the website, that is devoted to young adults of Norman, Oklahoma. In the proposal that follows, I will present my methodology on creating these sites, my solution to the problem of the lack of arts advocacy and how my solution meets the criteria listed above, as well as a conclusion that explains why this problem is unfortunately prominent and why it needs to be fixed
