The first benefit is that there is a strong bond between the child and the parent, almost like best friends. Also, the parents will always know where their child is and what he or she is doing. In the end, children are able to learn from their parents’ and not make the same mistakes that they make (Pros and Cons). The pros for helicopter parenting really do allow children to be close with their parents, which causes the bond to possibly be inseparable. Having your parent as a best friend, does not always allow enough social individuality and the lack of independence. I mean, do we want our parents to be our best friends?
