Sarah met Ludo when she was walking through the labyrinth after Hoggle cowardly ran away after hearing Ludo’s growls. Ludo has a special kind of magic that seemed like whenever he growls, he can get the rocks to help them or himself, like the time Sarah just met him. He had rocks roll over to Sarah’s feet to throw at the goblins who were provoking him. Also, when the bridge over the bog of eternal stench fell down, he had the rocks make a bridge for them to cross safely across the bog. Fairytales also usually have mystical creatures like dwarves, like Hoggle, and goblins, and also magic and enchantments, which mostly came from Jareth when he uses his crystal balls to transform them into different things and looks through them as if it’s some kind of a security camera following Sarah in the labyrinth. The magic and the different kind of creatures, together with the dream of Sarah and Jareth dancing with each other, had made this movie fit the fairytale sub genre quite easily. Also, having a moral to the story on about how much family really matters also helps it to fit into the sub genre(Labyrinth) (“Fairy
