The Kuiper Belt is what contains most of the asteroids, comets, and other floating rocks scientist see today. The Kuiper Belt is a solar system that exists far out of Neptune's orbit. Kuiper Belt also has another name, that is Edgeworth. The Edgeworth, or the Kuiper Belt, is home to three officially recognized dwarf planet we know today. Those three planets are Pluto, Haumea, and Makemake. Although, Pluto is the most common, it really shows the possibilities this Belt could contain other undiscovered dwarfs. Besides that, the Kuiper Belt mostly contains small solar system bodies made mostly of ice. These ices are mostly frozen gases like methane, ammonia, nitrogen, and even water. Astronomer Gerard Kuiper is the founder of the Kuiper Belt.
