Since the day I have read it for the first time, I enjoyed Arthurian tales. With its plentiful, adventurous atmosphere, it 's English mythological creatures which is shown upon the pages, and its deep heroism that is really interesting, the story between Arthur and his knight of the round table has been really interesting each time I read it. But out of the all the story the one that I enjoy the most is the story of Gawain and the green knight. The reason why I enjoy this story out of the rest is because of its uniqueness upon all the other Arthurian tales. From its chivalrous point of view from Gawain action, to the use of a female character in the story, this among the other things, makes Gawain and The Green knight very unique among the Arthurian Tales.

One of the of the perfect example is of a christian elements which is the similarity between the Adam and Gawain (Doe) . The reason why this is really important is that just as Adam succumbs to Eve, Gawain surrenders to wife by accepting the girdle. And yet it also differ from Adam because although Gawain sins by putting his faith in the girdle and not confessing when he is caught, the Green Knight pardons him, thereby allowing him to become a better Christian by learning from his mistakes (Doe).
Another perfect example of Christian elements that is located through the story is the Green knight himself. Now some may believe that the Green Knight is the depiction of jesus christ, thanks to the crown in which he wore during the begin of the story. But in actuality, “the Green Knight is not a figurative representation of Christ. But the idea of Christ 's divine/human nature provides a medieval conceptual framework that supports the poet 's serious/comic account of the Green Knight 's supernatural/human qualities and actions.
