The theme of The Maze Runner is It is always better to work together than fight over the decisions that should be made and stay individual. And that represents the character Thomas because hes the one who started all the changes including the teamwork. One example the song above represents the theme is because it says "It's hard to fit in, When you're on the outside, Feels like someone's getting to my head, Was it somethin' I did, or just somethin' I said? " The quote above also gave a good example of how in the Glade the creators had control of their heads. for example, the Gladers not having any memories.…

For years history has been known to bring people together, but drive people away, force people to learn or make similar mistakes. In Khaled Hosseini’s The Kite Runner, it plays an essential role in both the character and plot development of the story. To me this book is all about courage, it starts with Hassan and the way he would stand up for Amir when they were kids like, when Hassan pointed the slingshot at Assef and his friends when they were threatening Amir. Then when Amir has grown up he goes back and Hassan's son who has lost his parents due to the Taliban shoots Assef in the eye when he was hurting Amir. The third moment of great courage in the book is when Amir stands up for Sohrab when General Taheri calls Sohrab a Hazara boy. When Hassan and Amir were friends they were close, Amir would read Hassan stories, and even though Hassan was Amir's servant they still hung out all of the time, they would fly kites together and go to movies.…
