The Kite Runner By Jon Krakauer: Character Analysis

1. Family, they’re the best people that you have or ever will experience. They’re the people that you've been through everything with, since day one. When no one else is there, your family always will be. For example, in the book, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, Hassan is always helping Amir when he was bullied by other kids. Amir was unaware that Hassan was his brother, but he eventually stood up for Hassan’s son. Though it was too late for Amir to help Hassan, he sort of made up for it by saving Hassan’s son from being raped by Assef. An example of how not having a family is shown in the book Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer. The main character, Chris McCandless, left his family, friends, and modern society itself to take a trip into the Alaskan Wilderness. Chris and his father never got along very well, and eventually he grew tired of arguing with his father so he left. In the book, The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, Augustus and Hazel are really good friends and they lead into a relationship.
