The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini is a book based on forgiveness, love, betrayal, social class and immigrant experience. The characters in the story actions support the theme of betrayal. Amir, Hassan, Baba, Ali and Sanuabar are the characters that mostly shows their betrayal towards one another. Amir and Hassan’s friendship, Baba and Amir’s relationship, Ali, Hassan and Sanuaber relationship and Baba and Hassan’s relation. Hassan and Amir had been best buds. If anything bad had happen, Hassan always blamed himself and never tell on Amir. Amir had been jealous of Hassan’s and Baba’s relationship.
