The Kite Game

An event that took place in my life that changed my life was my game winning catch in a game of frisbee. We were playing a ten on ten game of frisbee and we were down about eight points and we came back and I got the game winning score.

Last year, me and a bunch of my friends were walking down to the turf after school to play some frisbee. While we were walking down we were discussing who was going to be on which team. When we got to the turf we lined up and counted off to decide who was on which team. I was placed on a team with a bunch of kids that were new to the game and didn’t really know how to play. The other team was filled with a bunch of kids that have been playing for a while and knew how to play.

The other team kept scoring and the score started to get farther apart. The score was about nine to two, us with two, and we were al just about to forfeit until all of the sudden my teammates started to pick up the pace a little and we kept scoring and keeping the game …show more content…
And since we scored last we had to throw it off to them. They had the frisbee and were making their way down the field and they were getting closed to the end zone and we were getting more and more nervous. The other team eventually made it to about the 3 yard line and one more throw and they would have won.

But one of my teammates threw himself in front of the pass and saved us from losing. So he picked up the frisbee and we kept passing it down the field from about the 3 yard line and we knew that if we screwed up it would cost us the game. We got to about the thirty yard line and we made one of the most stupid plays ever. We tried to hail mary the frisbee and we dropped it. So the other team had the frisbee and they were passing it along each other trying to get it to the other side without screwing up.They were doing just fine until they made one of the same mistakes we did around the fifteen yard
