Nearly one month later, on July 10, 1977, Craig’s body was found floating in a nearby strip-mine pond that had already been intensely searched in the first few days and weeks following his disappearance (Flynn, Grace). An autopsy report determined that there was no definite cause of death, but then again authorities had poured fuel on the body at the time of discovery to “kill maggots” supposedly. This move disabled all ability to make determination of cause of death from tissue samples. The sheriff at the time, along with the grand jury, recommended that the case remain open (Flynn, Grace). After several years, Craig Lloyd Graham’s cause of death is still listed as unknown with no new facts or evidence to help find out who committed this terrible crime (“Craig Lloyd Graham”).…

By presenting A Stolen Life from Jaycees point of view, Jaycee Dugard reveals her painful experience kidnapped in the backyard of a married couples house. Life is all about choices, therefore choices are easily tied to one’s life experiences. All actions have consequences, and sometimes one’s greatest vice is not listening to the whole precipice (meaning, lesson) in the advice (actions) from others. For example, in the play, Hamlet, by William Shakespeare, Polonius gives Laertes various pieces of advice before Laertes departs for France. Many of which are applicable to a multitude of characters throughout the play, and the characters who are not present while the advice is given may have benefitted from the messages that Polonius gives in his speech. However, the characters that are present to hear the advice, Polonius and Laertes, have the great advantage over other characters because they have…

I think for hamlet, it's mostly madness that has consumed him. He seems to be on the edge of both sanity and madness sometimes, making good and bad choices. But the way he killed Polonius instead of the king by “accident” indicates something of madness. And the fact that he didn't really care that he killed Polonius, as if life doesn't matter, makes it seem more sensible to believe he's not sensible.…

This is due to Hamlet’s carless plot to seek revenge for his father’s death. Not only did Hamlet kill Polonius but Polonius death lead Ophelia to insanity, enough to make her commit suicide. This not only shows how revenge led to a terrible consequence, but it also starts to introduce the damage that Claudius had on Hamlet. The statement that Claudius gave about Ophelia’s actions can also be used to describe the reason behinds Hamlet’s insanity. Claudius believed he could have gotten away with killing King Hamlet, however we are seeing his punishment form little by…
