Decent Essays
Hi Sherri, I am excited that you are getting to be involved in a class that is of great interest to you. I see a few similarities in our work styles but since I am a kinesthetic learner than differences will also exist. I learn best by hands-on experience and the employees under my supervision learn the same way. This process consists of on the job training, and the employees pick up incredibly fast. I work for a non-profit agency that consists of head start, early head start, pre-k and a family violence program. In our environment, regulations and guidelines are changing daily, and we must learn to adapt. You sound as though you have a great handle on your learning edge, and this is an excellent trait to have. Hope the best for you

Imagine that you are watching the symphony orchestra perform, listening to a wide array of different instruments. When you hear the vibrations of the strings of a double-bass, your brain associates that specific sound with the smell of a fruit. When the clarinets wail their tune, you visualize the color orange. Finally when you make eye contact with a harp, if one is present, your right leg begins to itch. This seemingly supernatural phenomenon doesn’t occur once, but it occurs every time that you hear a double bass, listen to a clarinet, or make eye-contact with a harp.…
