Mr. Rainsford is an author of many popular hunting books in the story. General Zaroff had a game on his island to improve his hunting skills and for his entertainment. Mr. Rainsford use his knowledge of hunting and used it to beat General Zaroff him in his own game. Mr. Rainsford been hunting in many climates and the rain forest on the island should not be any different or harder to stay safe from General Zaroff. Mr. Rainsford use his knowledge about hunting skills to keep hidden from General Zaroff, the dogs, and any other animal on the island. Rainsford only have a close range
