Bad Time Management

Time management can be looked at in various ways, meaning that there is good and bad time management. Managing your time is a way to allocate the time that you have to the number of tasks that you have to do. With the time that you do have in a day, you can make a choice to one of two things, be productive or waste time. Being productive will make the most of your time, from my experience actually starting on a project or assignment is the hardest step, but after that it becomes easy to keep working and finish. For example in the morning when you wake up, getting up and starting the day gives you more energy, compared to sleeping for 5 minutes more. While wasting time will lead to cramming, poor performance, and most likely loss of sleep. A key difference between good and bad time management is anticipation and procrastination. The anticipation of time management is knowing what you have to do, the amount of time you have, and how you work. Provided that you have all the variables, the task, time, the knowhow, you should be able to make an effective plan that will get you through it efficiently and accurately. From the experience of retaking a course 3 things, I have been able to see the mistakes I made in the first two attempts to pass the course and avoided them. In

Know what needs to be done and how much time is there allows you to anticipate and plan out what, when, and where each time slot is going to be in placed in. In contrast to just waiting to the last minute and providing poor results in your work. In general having good time management will give you a more overall organization and better experience to get work done. I can’t find any better way to put it other than the way Benjamin Franklin put it “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail”, know that you have to do something and planning for it will make it much easier in the
