The Kennedy Family is both famous and infamous for many things, one of those things is The Kennedy Curse. The Kennedy Curse is said to impact the Kennedys and their relatives in bad ways after a great accomplishment that a Kennedy did. It is said that the Kennedy Curse was started by Patrick Kennedy. Another explanation is: “The Kennedy Curse is the result of destructive collision between the Kennedy’s fantasy omnipotence- their need to get away with things that others can not- and the cold, hard realities of life”; or; “Somebody in the [Kennedy] family did something to open the family to this negative energy, and that has been playing the Kennedy’s for decades”(The Kennedy Curse: Why Tragedy Has Haunted America’s First Family for 150 Years). Another “explanation” for it is Rabbi Jacobson put a curse on Joseph Kennedy, damning him and all of his male offsprings to tragic fates. The Kennedy Family is a dedicated and wealthy democratic party. “ Their charisma and commitment to public services fascinated the public, however it did not save them from tragic ends.” (The Kennedy Curse: Family Tragedies-JFK,RFK, etc.) The Kennedy’s felt immune to mortal laws and somehow felt protected from unavoidable consequences. They felt they were special- omnipotent and worthy of being worshipped. The Kennedy took lots of risk only because the the payoffs were large. “Joe Kennedy treated his family as of they were a football team.
