It’s another grim day in a place that nothing ever happens. No ghosts ever haunt, no demons posses, and gods never have the heart to bless. This place, where weather is always the same, a default cloud and sun that somehow makes the most cheerful and joyous of experiences into a dreary and dull event. Always seems that everyone involved is lethargic and rather annoyed. Here, it is where our story begins. About a young girl who could see strange creatures, a young girl who lives in a place where nothing happens. Now, to say that nothing happens is an odd statement, as when one says they did nothing, they usually mean that nothing eventful or truly noteworthy happened. It seemed that day in and day out this little town was the epitome of "nothing", …show more content…
Her eyes were a cold ice blue, faded and filled with sadness. Her skin was flawless, fair, pale and smooth. Of course, that was excluding the birthmark on her torso, which looked like a vertical scar from the bottom of her collarbone to her sternum. She hated it, but lived with it, never wearing anything that might reveal it. Because of her hatred, naturally this little girl's favorite pastime was being a pest. A rat in everyone's hair with the soul purpose to inflict an irksome trait to everyone's day. She was only getting better by the day, the more and more she played this world like a game the more and more the world seemed to hate her. She didn't mind though. She knew how this would end up eventually, everybody dies, and so would she, so why should she spend her time being anything else than absolutely fun and completely rotten to the core. Alas, because of her behavior and rather odd demeanor she tended to have few friends. Well, no friends to be truthful. She never kept a human as a companion for long, usually not even an animal. An insect, possibly, but those don't last long by default. She enjoyed her own thoughts more than she did anything else, so she decided to make her own friends, or at least that's what it seemed everybody
