Everyone will go through one of these in their lives and even though the hero’s journey is hard, it is always be rewarding at the end. The stages of this journey all teach the hero a very valuable lesson. To keep going and never give up! Like I have stated all throughout this essay, everyone will experience the hero’s journey, including me. I have had to deal with this kind of journey in college. Even though this seemed hard and I had to go through a lot to end up where I am now. It is important to go through things because at the end of the day, they will teach you your greatest life lessons. In this essay I first described in great detail the hero’s journey which is describes as, the typical adventure of the archetype known as the hero,the person who goes out and achieves great deeds on behalf of the group, tribe, or civilization. Three stages known as Departure, Innermost Cave, and The Return and Reintegration into Society and two archetypes Shadow and Mentor were described in this essay.
