For any industry there has to be change in order to keep up with growth, progress or evolution. The services that was provide 20 years ago, in any business will not be relevant to today’s demanding consumer. Even our mission statement and our vision may have to be adjusted in the impartiality of change. Evidence base practice is considered to be achievable with the right skill sets. In the Johns Hopkins Nursing Evidence-Based Practice Model and Guidelines 2007, it demonstrates evidence practice in nursing, which holds nurse to a standard in their practice for safe and effective patient care. The practice model defined and spelled out guidelines in which a nurse is to perform in their competency and deliver their best clinical decision.
