Just because you have a smart phone, doesn’t mean it’s smart to text while driving. Is it really that important, to put your life and the lives of others in danger; for a text that can wait. Texting has caused numerous people to be injured, or die in an accident. The issue should not be whether to outlaw it, but to enforce NO TEXTING WHILE DRIVING strongly. Why does people text and drive? Many researchers have been asking this question. Research shows that half of America has an obsession with socializing, and keeping up with the latest gossip.
They always have to have their phone with them in order to keep up with everything that’s going on. Another reason is many teens, suggest that their bored while driving which leads to them pulling out their cellular devices and browsing the web while driving, however adults say that they conduct very busy lives where they have to constantly check emails, and reply immediately. Texting and driving is one of the largest epidemics in our nation, and its spreading even more every day, drivers are constantly checking their Facebooks, twitters and text messages, while supposedly driving, and watching out for the constant movement of the streets.
