Gay Marriage The issue of same-sex marriage is an important topic in America today. It seems that everyone is required to have an opinion on this controversial issue. Those who accept and embrace same-sex marriage are often seen as open-minded and fair. However, those who oppose it are sometimes seen as narrow-minded and bigoted. But who is right, and what types of marriage should society value? Granted, religious and nonreligious groups alike, such as Muslims, Atheists, and Christians, have differing views on this subject. However, marriage is defined biblically as between one man and one woman, heterosexual marriage is recognized in many cultures and societies, and Christians must stand firm in the biblical definition of marriage, while loving those who do not.
There are various views, within religious and nonreligious groups alike, about the issue of homosexuality. As a Muslim, homosexuality is not something you want to be caught doing. The
Quran has many verses stated by Allah about homosexuality and how bad and disgraceful it is. Homosexuality is not allowed at all in Islam under any circumstances. The end result of homosexuality in the Quran was the destruction of whole entire cities for not giving up homosexuality.
