In the article that we’ve read, it gives us a little background of how far back racism has been and for how long it’s been around. To see that many of African Americans still feel discriminated to this day is not right. We can see how the author's emotional state and how he feels the same way by describing how our president isn’t doing anything for African American and other minority groups to defend them, but instead he’s defending Confederate statues. Racism has gone for far too long and we need to do something about this issue. Racism is a big issue to the everyday life.
