On August 26, 2015 a reporter and her camera man murdered on live television by an ex-coworker who was coming back for revenge. The gunman professed the mistreatment he revived with constant racial comments, when he was working at the station, by the two people he shot. This frightening event, along with many like it, illustrates the concept that some people use the fulfillment of hurting innocent people to cope with anger, revenge, or their mental illness. Guns do not kill people it is the people that do the killing because. Gun control is not going to fix the amount of homicides, just decreases the right of protection , against people that may have mental issues or extreme anger and are planning on hurting or killing individuals.
The United States has the highest gun ownership rate, which is an estimate of eighty eight per one hundred people, and has a homicide rate of four point eight per one hundred thousand residents, which is minimal (americangunfacts). The nine European countries that contain the lowest firearms, in the possession of residents, have about three times the murder rate than America. Many citizens believe that the limited use of firearms will lower the fatal tactics murders use to harm or execute people with the use of guns, yet the statistics show an increase in homicides with the decrease of guns.
In 1791, America adopted the second amendment, which guaranteed the right for all citizens to bear arms, and this has gone without debate for centuries. Now…
