I. Introduction
For years, people have been at odds with the topic Eternal Security. Many believe that a person can lose his or her salvation while others believe a person cannot. The topic has frustrated the hearts of many people in the past as well as in the present. Eternal Security is a controversial topic that people have studied and debated for years. Many people do not believe in “once save always saved.” Some believe that people receives salvation but they also believe they can lose their salvation. In other words, they believe a person must work to maintain his or her salvation.
Salvation is God’s grace through Jesus Christ to those who believe. God’s plan of salvation was only through Jesus Christ and his finished work on cross. Salvation is God’s gift to those who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. The moment a person accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior that person is saved through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Today, many people do not think salvation is that easy? Some people think they will go to Heaven because God is too good to send anybody to hell. Other people say that nobody knows for sure where a person is going when he or she dies. Many of these puzzling questions have left people wondering about their salvation. Today many people are left with the question “Can a person lose his or her Salvation?”
