This interactive discussion was very engaging as it provided very intriguing points regarding issues of diversity in leadership roles in the sport industry, primarily focusing on gender. All three panel members Dr. Burton, Nicole Melton, and Fleurette King. have a very extensive expertise and experience regarding these issues. After learning about each of their individual backgrounds, they were asked specific questions regarding how well they personally believe diversity presently is illustrated in sports. All three of them agreed to the fact that yes, we are finding more diversity in sport- but only to a certain degree. Fleu made interesting points regarding only to what we are accepting for diversity is what we will see, giving examples
