Argumentative Essay On War

The United States of America is informally at war with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). ISIS has performed many terrorist attacks all around the world in major cities like Paris. These acts of terror have made people all over the world anxious when it comes to the war with ISIS. People are wondering why the U.S. has not destroyed this radical group when the U.S. has the most advanced military in the world. But many arguments spark up about as to what is morally right in fighting a war. ISIS is not fighting a moral fight and does not care about anyone but those of ISIS therefor, the U.S. cannot continue to stay peaceful allowing for evil to continue. ISIS believes the apocalypse is coming. Propaganda by ISIS, similar to the one imaged on the right, is filled with prophecies of the end of time. They believe that armies will come to them and have one final battle in northern Syria, where Allah will come and defeat all opposing to the Islamic state then, all those loyal to Allah will be taken to heaven where they will experience paradise. With ISIS growing in numbers rapidly new ideas about war need to be explored. One way to succeed is to learn from the past, specifically from World War Two (WW2) and the ultimate surrenders of both Germany and Japan. At the end of WW1, Hitler placed Germans with superiority over all other races and specifically targeted the Jews. During the Holocaust, over six million Jews were killed in internment camps. The Axis Powers; Germany, Japan, and Italy declared war in Europe where they attacked Britain and France. The United States did not start in the war but quickly supplied the Allies; Britain, France, Australia, etc. Due to the U.S. involvement, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor to try and stop the U.S. from interfering.
