I fear that the new health care program will fall short as did Medicaid and Medicare to where individuals chose not to have health care for their families and the children are the ones that suffer. With the new health care program being implemented, hopefully the mobile clinics will only be needed for disaster assistance relief. I am a foster parent and have had many children come through my home, and the children where on Medicaid and lacked getting the simplest forms of medical attention. I understand that individuals do not have insurance or have had the opportunity to get medical insurance, but in my view there are ways to get medical service programs available especially for the children of families who cannot afford medical …show more content…
The communication issues with mobile clinics are the ability to access a patient’s previous data and accessibility of personnel at other medical facilities in a timely manner. Satellite communications mounted on each mobile clinic would make retrieving and exchanging data between medical clinics faster and more reliable. The area that would make it difficult for the mobile clinic would be the reliability and servicing of the satellite system when the system went offline. If the service technician is not in an area or available at the time the satellite became inoperable the end result is the clinic would be down until the system was fixed. There are other satellite and network communicative devices being developed, but none are without flaws and each come with a very expensive price tag. As technology increases communication devices become more affordable and mobile to which firms have deployed communication solutions such as WI-FI and satellite communicative devices and these device will continue to improve reliability and
