When you label someone as poor most people will accept it and rarely will they try to prove you wrong, I believe that’s a little before my generation. Maybe the reason why some people choose the wrong path in life is because the people surrounding them make them feel like they don’t have anything and sometimes they feel like they never will and have nothing to lose so they go out and do what they can to provide for themselves or their families such as, selling drugs, stealing, or killing. According to the US Census Bureau, “35.9 million people live below the poverty line in America, including 12.9 million children” (Siddiqui). The whole classification process shows a little bit of inequality. Because that makes some people feel as if they are better than the next person. I mentioned earlier that people trying to better their selves was not my generation type of activity, but acting like your better than the next human being is all you hear when you walk around a just observe today.
