Following the explanation of a person stride, comes the clip of the three world leaders trying to fit through a door at the same time. Many people would probably say it doesn’t matter who walks through the door first, they are wrong. In the west, it is based on the politeness of the person, however; in the Middle East it is different because it is based on cultural customs. The person who has the most power or is the highest in authority in the situation will take control and lead you through the door. The last of the three world leaders through the door, wins. Although, Tony Blair should be in charge, he is not simply because he recognized the leadership of George Bush. The leadership of Bush, is the reasoning behind him going through the door last. While walking through the door with Blair in front, Bush puts his hand on his shoulder to guide through the door and the gentle taps Bush gives to Blair’s shoulder is a way to show his power. The debate was held shortly after Nixon was released from the hospital after hurting his knee. In the debate Nixon would not agree to wearing make up on camera,a and sweated tremendously due to the lighting. Kennedy on the other hand was much more appealing, wearing make up on set. So who won the debate? At the time, it depended how you saw the debate. Those who watched the debate live, would argue Kennedy won by a landslide, however; those who heard the debate over the radio would defend Nixon saying he won by a landslide. Those who watched the debate on tv had better viewing because for the first time they could physically see the two candidates debate. Coaching a politician is not easy. A lot of pretending takes place, pretending to like people and the places you are. The real sign of body language is shown by non other than Bill Clinton. We are shown a short clip of Clinton in an interview, when he is asked questions he isnt thrilled to answer.
