Modern Day Gentleman

Do you have what it takes to be a modern-day gentleman? Do you even know the many rules and requirements of being a gentleman? No matter your size, age, or who you truly are you can be a gentleman. According to requirements given over this world’s vast history, today’s generation still has gentlemen among us.

There are many different variations and kinds of gentleman throughout the world, but a gentleman is purely a thoughtful, polite, well-mannered man that has a good social standpoint and a background with knowledge and education.

He must never swear or harm another person unless he is defending his loved ones and even then he must think about the consequences before making any actions. Gentleman talk to and connect with everyone even if they don’t know the people they will try and start a polite conversation and make new friends wherever they are. Gentleman try and be clear about what they are talking about and get straight to the point while throwing in some small talk to keep the conversation flowing. A true gentleman always sticks to his word and returns the favor when helped even if the task needed to be done is hard. They have a very firm handshake and try to avoid controversial or uncomfortable topics that could be argued about or offend anyone that has different views on a subject. He is always respectful of his actions and decisions and thinks about how his actions could impact others. He never talks down to anyone or is disrespectful to people even if he doesn't get along with them or they don’t believe in the same moral standards. When a gentleman is around other people or in public they always hold a door open for a people that are behind them while entering a building. When a gentleman enters a building they take off their hat to show respect and always hop to their feet and stand while another woman or person is standing.
