The following information comprises the Investment Policy Statement of Danielle Owusu by Tiera Williams, Portfolio Manager. Danielle Owusu is a 21-year-old Human Development major from Roselle, New Jersey. While attending Howard University full time, Owusu works at Pete’s Coffee Shop. She is independent in Washington with no other family relations to support. Owusu, being an independent student, covers her financial needs through scholarships, loans, and jobs. However, as she is only supporting herself, most financial needs can be taken care of by her current sources of income. Throughout her years in Washington she has had consistent health. Owusu agrees with the quiz to a certain extent. The three evidences from Owusu background to support these claims are the following: she wants her assets to grow and have a high yield return. Investing in Howard with her own funding shows her willingness to invest large sums of money. Her personality is also very outgoing and fits some of the character traits of a moderate. While she is somewhat skeptical of the financial market, she is willing to accept lower rates of return if there are high yield returns to be made. She does not want to see drastic changes in her bank account balance, but as her portfolio manager, I will balance out her portfolio with both low and moderate investments to ensure a secure portfolio. In the case of legal vs regulatory those factors should be taken into consideration to review whether Owusu is suitable for certain regulations based on her demographic. My client will not be on the board of directors because it would serve as a conflict of interest. The investment policy will help the client structure their investments, will show the visibility of past/current objectives, and will clearly state assets. Overall, it helps the client provide a financial roadmap. Throughout the portfolio the client has to be honest with their financial statement and have a clear outlook on how much they can
