What is Parapsychology? It is a field of study concerned with the investigation of paranormal and psychic phenomena. Parapsychologists study telepathy, precognition, clairvoyance, psychokinesis, near-deathexperiences, reincarnation, apparitional experiences, and other supernatural and paranormal claims. The Rhine research is a study to see if organisms give off ultraviolet light which is used to move information between cells and organisms. The ultraviolet light is energy that could be a part of ESP experiences in humans. They would like to find out more about bio photonic and to see if self healing can be effectively self taught. This site also talks about an OBE experiment. It is a pilot designed to see if there is any physical indicators that can be measured by scientific equipment when an OBE occurs. They hope that this research will shape future studies for OBE. The Mind Over Matter study talks about Psychokinesis. The research was done to learn more about the random PK experiences.
