JP Morgan and Thomas Edison teamed up using Thomas Edison’s lightbulb invention to light up the world electronically via direct current. Thomas Edison assured JP Morgan that there was no competition in the electricity business. He was wrong his protégé Nicola tesla came up with another way to light up the world using alternating current in the lightbulb. After Edison rejected the idea Tesla quickly resigned and set out on his own and he found George Westinghouse to back his idea and a competition was born.
To try to derail Tesla’s success and get back into JP Morgan’s good graces Edison went to the dark side trying to prove that Nicola Tesla’s alternating current was dangerous. He kills animals including an elephant. They also used alternating
