Did you know that computers used to be the size of a wall? In the 80’s, cellphones were the size of your hand. Now, people wait in line for multiple hours for the Iphones. In the 90’s technology was blossoming. In the 90’s, technology was effected by the Gulf War.

Along with the cellphones, other events such as the Bush’s administration's invasion of Iraq are what really shaped the 90’s into a decade that everyone knows of. The Gulf war,also known as Operation Desert Storm, was launched by President H.W. Bush and his administration after it was believed that Saddam Hussein, leader of Al Qaeda had weapons of mass destruction. Along with weapons of mass destruction, Iraq had annexed Kuwait and claimed it as their own. After disregarding warnings from the United Nations Security Council, the United States and other allies were called upon to take Kuwait back. The invasion began with airstrikes on the Presidential Palace in Baghdad. In began in August of 1990 and lasted until February 1991 when President Bush declared a cease fire.

It is obvious that FDNY and ESU did not train together nor did they response to the attack with collaborative afford.
