“The Internship” is about two friends and partners, Billy and Nick (played by Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson), who lose their jobs selling watches because everyone uses their cell phones to check the time nowadays. They decide to apply for an internship at Google which could ultimately lead to a permanent job. They find themselves competing with much younger and more technically savvy applicants. The quirkiness of Billy and Nick appeals to their fellow team members and they find that they are able to help each other grow.
It is set in Googles headquarters.

They find themselves losing many times so they come up with new and creative ways to defeat their competitors. For example, Billy and Nick tell Stuart to use his phone screen to blind his opponents. This is clearly showing creative thinking and problem solving because they are finding clever and unique ways to solve the problem at hand.
The other scene is when their team is required to create a new application that will gain many downloads. After spending too much time on coming up with an idea and not finding anything appropriate, they decide to blow off some steam. When they finish having their fun night out, they use their drunkenness to their advantage and come up with a drunk texting app. This also shows creative thinking because they used a bad situation to create an opportunity.
Creative thinking and problem solving is defined as finding creative and unique ways to solve a problem.
The benefits are understanding problems better and having a structure approach to coming up with good ideas, generating more creative ideas and understanding how to compare and evaluate ideas before moving to the implementation
