Management refers primarily to administrative tasks like planning, organizing, directing and controlling. In the business world management is needed to keep the business functioning, without management employees wouldn 't know what to do or where to go and processes wouldn 't be put into place to keep the business functioning. Good management can allow a business to flourish, this is evident in the film, at (time 33:00-35:00) the management of Google explain the rules of the business to the employees, this may seem like a simple task but they are preventing potential rule violations simply by communicating the rules of the business.
