In the past few decades, our world has changed at a tremendously rapid rate. The Internet has changed the way we organize the functioning of our social and economical lives. We are the first generation to experience the Internet and its impact on our society. Our parents and grandparents have merely adapted to this advancement. This advancement has made positive and negative impacts on society, but it has definitely brought significance to the statement “There Is Only One World”. My goal in this paper is to explain how the Internet has made the world smaller, and how we as a society have benefited and suffered from this great change. The ironic aspect of the Internet is that in order to properly connect or reconnect with people, it is necessary to disconnect. This wonderful invention has altered the background of current society, completely changing the way we think and act. Many aspects of our society are dependent upon the Internet, which in itself is a negative effect. Negative effects of society are seen in many different areas of daily life, such as the inactive lifestyle associated with the Internet, sleep deprivation, a corruption of morals, sexual predators, cyber bullying, theft of identity and possessions, invasion of privacy, addiction, instant enjoyment, and the way in which we …show more content…
We can’t imagine our world now a day without mobiles and internet. They mingled with our daily life very much and they are inseparable from us. This global phenomenon has reshaped people’s hobbies, habits and it has given them unthinkable opportunities to connect with others. The Internet has erased all the limits placed between people by geographical distance and it has provided them with the means to come together and share their passions, their thoughts and their lives with each other. It alone has the power to transform a thousand miles into just a few clicks
