The Internet is an important tool for human development which is involved in daily activities such as: workplace, school and leisure time. After years of research and technology development, the internet has become an indispensable tool of communication worldwide, where people have the ability to interact virtually with people from around the world. Nowadays, is easier to exchange opinions, photographs, feelings and private content without having to be physically present in a certain moment, country or place. Although the internet allows us to be connected with family, friends, and relatives, our human interaction with the outside world has been disturbed by social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. The internet and social media platforms have created a dependency on humans, and as a result, this has disrupted people’s reality with fake connections and distractions, detaching their minds from the real world.
The Internet is a useful tool where people get to know different perspectives, share opinions and communicate with relatives and others, but at the same time it is a time consuming resource within society. The Internet is wire to a lot of devices such as: smart phones, computers, laptops, tablets, etc. Nowadays people are more likely to have a smart device with Internet than a house or a car.
