If people relied more on the outside world, It would be much easier to be sociable in today’s society. It is very easy to get on the internet and talk to someone, work on something, get on social media, and even find a quick answer for a test. Today’s society relies solely on the internet for their answers; when past generations didn 't have it so easy. As Much information as the internet holds, people depend on it too much just because it 's much easier to find what they’re looking for. As humans have evolved over thousands of years, there has never been such an overpowered tool like the internet. People should realize even though it is the most helpful aspect in the world, it can also be the downfall of our society.

With social media, cyber bullying can be a serious thing, people have committed suicide because they were being “trolled” so much and their addiction would not let them get off of social media. . “Ten studies examined the link between social media victimization and depression, and all of them found a connection,” (“Social Media Cyber Bullying Linked to Teen Depression,” 1). The creation of screenshots and memes a few years ago made it even worse because someone can take a random person’s picture and put words on it with something they would never say. There is so much explicit and sexual content on the internet that can be exposed to the next generation of children at a very early age. Emoderation says this in an article about children being exposed to the open web, “urges operators of virtual worlds to take a number of steps to keep explicit content away from children and teens, and recommends that parents familiarize themselves with the virtual worlds their kids visit,” (“Children Being Exposed to Explicit Content in Virtual Worlds - Emoderation,” 1) .This could cause them to say and do things children should not be doing, which is why we shouldn 't let the internet take over because if it can mess teens and adults up psychologically and even physically very easily just imagine what it can do to a young
