The more they use it the more they will learn. By the time they get to the age where they have to use the Internet for school they will already know how it works and what to do.
Another way the Internet makes children smarter is by improving their cognitive abilities. For example, memory, comprehension, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Playing games, even games that have nothing to do with English, math, reading, etc., will improve a child’s cognitive abilities. Kaiser believes that parents, teachers, and the government should ban all cell phones, and other handheld devices from children under the age of 12. How could the Internet be so bad for children that they have to ban it from them? Some people think children and even teenagers should not use the Internet because they may be exposed to inappropriate language, images, and videos. They also do not want children to be exported to violence. There are many ways to limit what children can see on the Internet.
